Projects and Exams

Ok, I havent updated this post for some time and I`m really sorry. But there was a lot to do and I enjoyed it.

The good news is that I had my first assignment on a real Game Project. That was really exciting and I am proud that I was asked and able to deliver the assetts on time. I hope I can show you those Towers I made some day. At the moment I am not allowed. I made 2 Defense Towers for a TD Game. I concepted, modelled, textured, rigged, skinned and animated them. So it was a ready made Game asset from the scratch. :)

At the moment there exams here and I show you my "Texture" result. Its a 2048 x 2048 Diffuse, Specular and Normal Map.

Bunker Asset

This is a game ready asset of a bunker. It was my first Max -> Mudbox flow.

This is one of our Weapon Models.
The player will be able to choose one out of 6 for the gunship.

This is the Revolver Gun.
I baked the normal out of a High Poly to this 450 Poly Mesh.

Cylon Gunship

Ok, so here is my final Gunship, Cylon XE 3s callsign "Fat Beetle", for our upcoming Project Crack of Dawn.

Its 7800 Polys, 2048 x 2048 Maps

The black Cockpit and the round parts on the side (shield generators) are glowing blue or red (Teamcolors) inside the Game. There are also position Lights applied to the Model.

Project 200 Low Poly W.I.P

Ok.. now after a week of normalmap baking I think I finally got a result that is ok.
I`m not yet a 100% satisfied but it was my first attempt to bake a complex hardsurface Mesh.
